About Us
Brian Archer started the company back in 1972. Brian always had a love of cars and motorsport. His first competition car was his road Sprite that had a Starsprite fibreglass bonnet. The bonnet was styled like the E-type bonnet. The car was used for rallying, sprints, hillclimbs, and racing. With little funds available to pay for work to be carried out on the car, all the modifications and repairs had to be carried out himself. With friends also competing, cylinder heads and various other jobs were carried out for them, usually in the back bedroom of his house. The time came that the hobby became a career. With premises of 2000 sq.ft on the edge of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter the company began. Over the years, many cars had passed through these workshops, until larger premises were required. We now have workshops that are in excess of 5500 sq.ft. We pride ourselves with the knowledge that every vehicle that has been through our workshops has been worked on with care, attention to detail and enthusiasm.
With being a recommended workshop for the MG Owners Club and a Trade Club Member of the MG Car Club, we fully support them and offer any club members a genuine 10% discount.
